CAT Nutrition Tip
You likely know that cats are obligate carnivore. They do best on a grain- free diet. They also do even better on a wet food diet as this makes sure they get adequate fluids to keep their bodies flushed of toxins. Being desert animals they get their water from the animals they eat and very often do not drink as much water as is necessary.
Many times when a kitty is over weight, it can be due to the dry food they are eating, it often contains more carbohydrates than their bodies are meant to handle. Holistic veterinarians know this.
Important for me to know about your kitty:
Please provide me with a personality description so I know how the kitty would like to be cared for. Let me know if kitty gets into any mischief I should watch for, eating plastic bags, shredding towels and eating the strings, etc. Do they hide in specific spots in case I need to find them. Do they prefer to be left alone when sitters come in?
Do they have any medical conditions I should watch for? Please let me your veterinarians name, phone number and address. Plus an emergency contact should anything happen while you are away.
